Good game -- I haven't had to pay

FleshyHeadedMonkey

I was pleasantly surprised that this isn't just another "me too" tower defense game. It's got some unique elements that I find truly enjoyable, and requires some tactical decisions like choosing ground vs air defense and figuring out which upgrades are worth your hard-earned cash. About that cash... I agree the later/mid rounds have some ridiculously resilient enemy soldiers or floods of impossible-to-kill aircraft that make things a little frustrating, but I just move on and play a different scenario, earn more cash and come back to it. I have not spent a penny on this game and I'm nowhere near stymied yet. As for the unique features, I particularly like the commanders that you level up and can bring with you regardless of the faction you're currently playing. This allows me to max out Russian gear, assign commanders to them, and use that powerful gear in a British or USA scenario. I recommend you try this game if you like the genre. It's free to try, after all.

A real review

Harikarikillboy

The games I download and play usually have BS reviews so I'll keep this straight and to the point. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS GAME. It's not that it's bad or not entertains, the people/developer doesn't have your fun in mind, just your wallet. I decided to put $20 on it and see where it went and it's probably one of the biggest ripoff's in the App Store. You can't progress by playing better alone, it simply wants your credit card and money and makes it impossible to advance without spending much more than $20, so the guy who said he's never had trouble advancing the game below my review, is a liar. I dont mind paying for games, but most usually have conclusions after your purchase. NOT SO IN THIS GAME. Don't believe me? Start playing, then make up your mind. The AI (especially the tiny soldiers who take 8 times more damage to kill than the largest tank) has been amazingly hard to destroy no matter how or what level your weapons are. Save your money or just go to a casino, at least there you have a better shot at winning. Could have been a great game without all the greed.

We do our best to make the gameplay interesting and diverse.
Payments in our game are fundamentally voluntary. Any player can go through the game without buying any bonuses. Difficult, but possible.
Please try to play some more, maybe you will change your opinion in the future.

Get rid of towers taking damage!!!

_Camper9_

Overall pretty solid game. I love the generals. I feel like the upgrades for them should be cheaper.—I had to use stars earned from OTHER areas to upgrade my German generals just to get by in THEIR area. I really don’t like that your towers take damage and have to be repaired. It’s really obnoxious in the case of the rifleman, because you have to pause and check to make sure each individual rifleman is repaired every 2 or 3 seconds. The flamethrowers and airplanes are totally useless. I wish they would up their stats so that I could actually use them.—Using only 3 towers for everything gets old pretty fast. It’s pretty fun for a tower defense game, but I think it could use some changes (mainly the towers taking damage—PLEASE take that out—).
