Excellent, but small
This game has, among RTS's, a unique feeling in my opinion. I'm not a fan of RTS's. I dislike their boring gameplay, and constant resets. However, with this game, I can completely forgive that. It's a pick-up-and-go kind of game. Easy to start, fun to play, and decently quick to finish if not drug out. A regrettable feature is that, if you don't finish in time, you can't save your game. Another flaw is that it's small-scale (at least if you play free, like me), but that's completely forgivable, as the game only needs the maps it has. With only several, small maps, and constant gameplay, it may seem repetitive, but it's not. Every match, you get to choose your bonus powers, and the decisions of both the AI and yourself constantly change- especially so, in the 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 matches. The only flaws I really see are not having multiplayer (online would be excellent.), unintelligent AI (They have a specific go-to checklist, although I won't spoil it.), and not having a "save game" function. If the creators are reading this, please add those. The AI isn't as challenging as a friend would be, and certainly not as smart.
This game is definitely worth the time to check out.
When I first saw the game: "Hmpf, another stupid free game..."
When I tried it: "HOLY TRAINS. THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!"
Pros: This game helps your mind with strategy, and teaches you strategies that I'll bet you've never thought of. It is also great for younger kids, as it is easy to learn and fun to play when you have the hang of it. Also, the marketing for the game upgrades are awesome. You can save money by buying the assorted pack, or just buy a single weapon pack. But buying the assorted saves you a $.
Over all, I love the game and can't wait for more updates!
Great game. Needs a few refinements.
With a little patience on the unconventional game play, this becomes an excellent small screen rts.
Couple of tweaks needed on the ability to zoom completely out and some of the button mapping and ship response. But other than that 5 stars.
