eTreesNA - Trees, Shrubs and Vines of North America - A Tree App is a member of the World Life Forms family of products designed to provide easy to use, powerful tools for accessing images and information of the world's diverse life forms.
With over 700 life forms (see counts by taxonomic order below), eTreesNA can serve as a reference tool for botanists, educators and students. The life forms are accessible by common name, latin name and taxonomy.
Each life form is presented with a summary profile, an image, a textual description, and it's taxonomy tree. Maps are also included for many of the life forms.
A free sampler, eLifeFormsW - A Search Life Forms Sampler is available for free download and review. We strongly recommend all interested customers download and sample the demonstration version before buying our paid for products. This "try before you buy" policy allows for interacting with the user interface, content sampling and overall review of the presentation. As regular users of wild life reference materials, we believe our products are best positioned as a supplement to the field guides, software identification tools, atlases and other animal and plant life compendiums and not a replacement.

Ratings and Reviews
Would be pretty good app if it weren't so raggedly put together.
I'd give it less than one star if I could
Horrible app. Navigation is awful, some of the ways to search don't work. It areas that do work, the type is overlayed on other type, making it hard to read. App does not deliver as advertised. Worst 10 bucks I ever spent. Thinking about reversing the charge on my credit card because the description very nearly approaches fraud. What a dissapointment, all I wanted to do was identify a couple of shrubs in my yard.
This is the first program I have purchased and consider it a waste of money.
1. The pictures are small and have poor lighting making it difficult to see them
2. I know of very few amateur botanists who use Latin names. When using the Geography for looking up plants, only Latin is used, no common names.
3. The app tries to cover the world. As such it does mediocre job when you try regional lookups.
3. I could go on but it is a waste of time.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
