Film Guide Filter Updates
Ratings and Reviews
I keep trying to pull up the film guide using different filters, and it keeps showing “no data available” or it tells me that I need to be connected to the internet. Which I am. It’s really annoying as there are no physical guides this year.
TriBeCa Film Festival 2017
The 2017 version of the now famous TriBeCa Film Festival application is a noticeable improvement from the previous version. While the design, UI and navigation is similar, the content presented is richer and film discovery is improved mostly due to the filtering processing which is unique. Users can first search for films by going to the discover section from the main menu. In Discover users will see that films are categorized according to themes, topics, emotions, etc. Underneath each of these categories is a way to filter the the films playing at the festival. For example if a user is under the emotions tab one can filter films by inspiration, anger, sadness and several other emotional states. Users can also from the main menu go to the film guide section and the wishlist section. Where you can order the films you want to visit. The app of course can be used for more than just searching and managing films you want to see at the Festival. The app has the latest news from the event as well as maps of the area, travel information, passes information, schedule information and helpful for those who may be members of the media a press center section. For those who want a directory of all the ongoings the app contains a Festival Hub section. The TriBeCa Film Festival is one that continues to grow in prestige and like the event itself the application does as well.
Worst App Ever
Let's take our website that doesn't really function well and make an app out of it! Don't bother downloading, it provides zero value.
This app is terrible. It provides NONE of what I need in terms of a festival go-er (ie:
My tickets and my schedule) and offers zero benefit. The home buttons just take you to the associated pages from their web site, and it's super glitchy. If the festival is trying to be on the forefront of technology, this app is a bad example.
