With more than 21 million games sold, Triominos® adds a third dimension to the classic game of dominoes. And if you know how to play dominoes you already know how to play Triominos, so you can start playing right away. Triominos®’ combination of luck and skill means that you can beat your friends fair and square (or should we say, fair and triangularly?).

Triominos is an online, multi-player game, that lets you compete with your friends and family anywhere, any time. Search for your friends by username or invite your Facebook friends to play. You can play as many games as you want, simultaneously! Receive push notifications when someone invited you or made a move.

If you want to play on your own or practice in between games with friends, try the single player mode—you can test your skills and strategy by playing against the computer.

Slide your triangular tiles onto the “board,” matching one of the sides with the side of a tile that’s already in play. You’ll earn points for each tile you play, and bonus points for making combinations like a bridge, a hexagon, or a double hexagon. It’s easy to learn and quick to play—whether you sneak in quick moves while waiting in line for lunch or sit down and play for hours.

Horrible A.I.

If you're lucky, you may win 20% of your games against the computer. The artificial intelligence is very flawed here. You will constantly be drawing more triominos than the computer, the computer will regularly play in the only spot open to you after your most recent play, and the computer will build far more bridges and hexagons than you will. I lost my most recent game by the score 168 to -12! This game needs a complete overhaul. Triominos is a great game, this app fails to capture the fun and is limited in design. How about offering great settings, or unique computer players? There's great potential here but the truth remains this app is weak in design, versatility, and playability.

Tested bot. Somethings fishy.

I noticed that I was losing constantly to the bot. He loves to play over your tile when that’s the only tile for me to go on. He will constantly go out when I still ha e 11 to 12 tiles in my hand, because it just won’t give tiles to you that you can use. He will get bridges about 10 to your 1. I’ve tried lots of strategies that work in the actual board game, but constantly fail here.
AI needs an overhaul. And the part that gives you both your tiles.
Prepare to win about 1 in 10 games with the AI.
It just happens too much to be bad luck.

I recently started playing this game in its board game form and was thrilled to find out that here was an online version. however, after a solid 12 games and having only won 2 maybe 3 of them, I have to agree with the previous review I read about horrible AI. it’s just so rigged it’s not even fun to play. the other reviewer is correct, the bot just plays with loaded dice so to speak. for every 10/12 bridges or double bridges or completed hexagons that the bot gets, the user gets maaaaybe one. if that. I would continue to use this app only if the AI is fixed and made to be more fair of a game.
