Excellent food in lovely setting but know your rights
Mallorcan lamb was outstanding and fish of the day was very good. Wine selection is serious and fairly priced. The upstairs dining room is an oasis of elegance. Would give 5 stars but the owner seems to be trying to trick unsophisticated English speakers when the bill is delivered. Everything is in Spanish/mallorquí except for one line in English at the bottom that says "Service Not Included." This is not true (a tip is not included but service is part of the price) and is not on the bill in any other language. Spanish speakers would not be fooled by this which is why the Spanish at the end of the bill simply says "thank you for your patronage."
NOBU's 🔝standards!!
Nobu never disappoints. A few new dishes than other Nobus but the traditionals are always there: sashimi new stile, tiradito, anticucho... wagyu was outstanding and the spicy edamame a new discovery. The quality of the fish was simply outstanding and alrhough it doesnt get better than that the rartare was a little too smushed.
Also i think its time for you to think about the cross contamination and have too different ouls to fry shellfish and other.... allergies are a big thing now and by using the SAME oil for everything is just NOT letting some / a lit if your customers try new dishes.
Best Anniversary Celebration
The excellence Riviera in Cancun is the last resort to celebrate an anniversary. It's like being in paradise. The service is top notch. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary and could not have had a better day. It started with a delicious champagne breakfast delivered to our room. It ended well Nancy dinner for two in the Toscana restaurant. Jessica, one of the activities workers, made it extra special for us. When we arrived at the restaurant our table had heart shaped rose petals surrounding it. Los , our server, was very patient with us. He was very helpful and we had the best wine and dinner ever.
