The best app on the planet to travel the planet

I've been using Tripit for about three years now and signed up for the pro about two years ago. It's an amazing application especially if you link your email to the application because it will automatically download your plans into the app so whenever you have a trip you never have to worry about where you're going to be or what you're doing next because everything is there for you. Need to check in on Southwest 24 hours early? Easy. Trip it will remind you and you'll be in the A boarding group. Can't find a phone number or confirm number? Trip it has that. No problem! I think this app is literally one of the best things to ever happen to me when I think about making my travel life easier. Download it and join the party.

A lifesaver for keeping track of travel

When my family from all over the US are arriving at different times, staying at different places, TripIt keeps me on top of it all. I just forward all the confirmation emails to my Tripit account, and they are auto-magically organized into chronological arrivals, departures, lodging checkins and checkouts, car pickups and drop offs.

Those elusive confirmation numbers are right there when you need them. It's also easy to add restaurant reservations & other activities, either by forwarding confirmations or just quickly adding an activity and date/time.

Then I give my TripIt calendar access to my iPhone calendar, and get all the reminders I need to remember airport runs, etc. - I rarely need to enter travel reminders by hand into my calendar.

Checklists?

I've been using Tripit now for several years and it is so handy to have all of my trip information in one place, rather than having to print it out or look up email confirmations. Absolutely no complaints on that front.
One feature I would love to see though, is the ability to make checklists for individual trips, i.e. notify bank that I will be traveling abroad, remember to pack plug adapters, check international money jar for any local currency I might already have, etc. I'm sure most travelers are busy people like me who think of these things randomly and it would be great to just plug them into a trip checklist in Tripit to take care of later, rather than making some random note elsewhere.
