Information about updates:
Unfortunately since the initial launch of Tube Controller version 1.0 to the Mac App Store, there have been changes to the types of apps allowed. Apple has made sandboxing mandatory for all new apps and app updates. The current sandbox doesn't support many of the features Tube Controller needs to function, such as talking to the browsers and monitoring media key events from the keyboard.
We are always looking out for new ways to update the app.
We're sure that you will still love Tube Controller version 1.0!
Dead on Arrival
Doesn’t appear to function at all on macOS Sierra. The description more or less acknowledges that Apple’s App Sandboxing prevents it from getting the access it needs. I don’t understand why this is still in the store.
(Also, even if I’m doing something wrong — and it seems too simple to get it wrong — there is no help screen, and the ‘support page’ link is dead.)
This app appears to be total abandonware.
This is a good addition to my menu bar. Just don’t care for having to hit the space bar to restart the video when moving quickly forward or backwards. Besides that, its great.
Works great and does just what I want it to. But as another reviewer mentioned, headphone control support would be nice (and would easily make me change my review to five stars). Other than that though, it's pretty much perfect and I'm so glad I installed it.
