Caranddriver Tubi TV App review
I always say ‘gimme 5’ before breaks and then get 5 commercials and press the mute button. The quality of this channel is much improved from when I first used it after getting my Roku 2 box years ago. As others have mentioned, I’ve had one title not play (Romper Stomper) and occasionally the signal will get wonky or the commercial will get ‘stuck’, but 95% of the rest of the time or better, I have no problems. Not much of a tv episode person, but I enjoy watching documentaries and sci-fi mostly although Beowulf was a very impressive film I’d never seen before that prompted for this app review at the end of it. With the variety of film and tv on this channel I’d say it’s better than Crackle, which I used to watch quite often in the past. There are some shows I miss from Netflix, but not as much as I don’t miss the price increases. The one thing I would change: I would remove the default to subtitles when watching movies on my iPhone. After commercials breaks, I always have to turn them off again. If there’s a fix in settings, I haven’t found it. A minor irritation. A really great movie app.
THIS APP IS REAL
Guys, I know you probably just searched in the app store "watch free movies," tried a bunch of apps, realized they were all horrible, glitchy, or fake, and then came back and saw this one. You probably think these reviews are by the developer as most of the other ones on different apps probably are, but they're not! This app is highly rated for a reason. It's good quality and has interesting shows and movies. I love the way it's set up and it's super user friendly! You can totally trust this app and I promise you won't be let down. Tubi TV is amazing! P.S. Yes, it does have "commercial breaks" here and there but not very often and it's nothing that should annoy the average user. (By the way, I tend to get around said "commercial breaks" by clicking the back button to go back to the movie overview and when I go back into the movie the ad is gone!) And, if my review name is weird, I apologize as I made it back in about 4th grade and haven't figured out how to change it since😂
I use Tubi mainly to watch anime series and the series I’ve watched have all been complete with no missing episodes, as well as showing great quality of video and on-point subtitles when necessary.
I would like to suggest however that the series’ original season/episode layouts be used instead of alternative season breaks. For example, the anime “Bleach” has sixteen official seasons, each with a specific title. Conversely, on this app the series consists of almost thirty separate seasons, each only denoted by a season number. I think users would find it much easier to search and browse their favorite series if this were to match the official structure, and the titles of each season or arc were added to the user interface. There are many different streaming services available to people everywhere - small changes like this will give people more reason to choose your product over the competition.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for your feedback! I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying our anime selection!
We usually present series's episode layouts according to how our content partners dictate they be presented. This can sometimes mean that episodes are arranged differently than official episode guides, or seasons are split up a little differently. When we get user feedback like yours, we always share it with our Content team just in case they can make the change, but in most cases, we're showing it to you the way the content owner wants it to be shown.
That being said, I totally get your concern. We're all avid TV watchers, too, and agree that little details like this can really make the experience. I'll make sure your comment is seen by our Content and Product teams, and we'll discuss your suggestions.
Again, thanks for your review, and if you have any other questions, suggestions, or issues, please don't hesitate to get in touch at email@example.com!
