Not user friendly

App needs more payment options!! Also, like most other apps for services, a chat option is needed for real time customer support. Also I once paid using the checking account option and the payment was cancelled by TEP. The app (and website) need the option of clicking on said cancelled payment which would link or display a pull down bar as to the reason for the cancellation. This would make things so much easier than calling in and being on hold or sending in a request to speak with someone and waiting the “2 business days” for them to get back to you.

The TEP app is having a long outage.

I am a long term Tucson Electric Power customer. I just completed an online survey for TEP, and it asked several questions about the TEP mobile app which I have had on my phone for a couple of years, but haven’t used. So I thought I should go check it out. Well it is up to date, and so is my iOS version. But the app won’t even load! So I checked settings, deleted the app, reinstalled it from the app store, disabled my VPN (shouldn’t have to), rebooted phone, the TEP app still hangs.
So stop beating your chest about this app, TEP. You would get zero stars from me, if it were an option. There is no place on the TEP customer service website to get help on the app either, so I guess it is “unsupported”.

App fails to sign in with Face ID and doesn’t let you use a password manager to fill password

App is poorly designed it fails to sign in with Face ID and doesn’t let you use a password manager to fill in your password, you can’t even copy and paste it. So if you have a long password, good luck signing in every time to pay your bills, you’re better off using the website to pay.
