Tunable is a chromatic tuner, tone/chord generator, metronome, and recorder that helps you learn to play steadily, in tune, and on beat. Featuring a unique “tuning history” display for visualizing pitch over time, Tunable is the perfect toolkit for beginning to professional musicians.

◆ Learn to play in tune with sustained pitch history
Visualize how steadily you play or sing. As notes are held out, a white line draws how steady the pitch is. The straighter the line, the more consistent the pitch.

◆ Improve your ear with tone and chord generator
Need a reference tone or chord? Use the tone and chord generator to play and sustain chords with various tone options. Choose from different temperaments to hear how they compare.

◆ Keep tempo with an accurate and simple metronome
See the pulse with a visual metronome. View subdivision and current beat, with a large display and visual flash.

◆ Record and share
Record your practice and performances. Add reverb for a professional sound. Share recordings through e-mail, SoundCloud, Dropbox and more.

Customer Reviews

My guitar has never sounded so good

I'm thoroughly impressed and thankful for this tuner. Evidently my guitar has never been this in tune before. I noticed it immediately; and because it sounds better, I play better. Because it tunes so finely, I spend more time with it, but I also enjoy the whole process more - I actually look forward to it. With the way it's set up, I can watch the complete note from the attack through the decay presented in a continuous line. There are also other graphic indicators that continuously inform me how close I'm getting to being on pitch.

There is also a simple recorder built in, that I find useful for getting some quick feedback on passages I might be working on. A metronome is also included. It works well, but I find the sound of the downbeat rather harsh. I hope in some future update, additional sounds might be added. This is the best tuner I've ever seen.

Fantastic App! Very convenient and versatile!

First of all, not only does this have a tuner and a metronome, you can also record yourself. It also has a range of how well you are in tune, beginning to advanced and the range of well you are in tune decreases. The metronome also flashes too which I found annoying because I have epilepsy, then I looked in the settings, you can turn it off! Thank Odin! No seizures today. I normally never review apps but this app is amazing! It tells you how long you are in tune over a period of time. Extremely responsive! Accurate to the t, well worth the price!!!

*Almost* perfect

I find this app to be incredibly helpful. The pitches are clear and steady which really makes it easy to match the playing tone. Just *one* problem, and it's a minor one (hence the four out of five stars). I'm a singer. I've cranked all the vibrato down to as 'low and loose' as I can get away with, and the app is still too sensitive to show the pitch I'm singing without feeling like I'm all over the place. I'm usually showing a rapid flutter between sharp and flat when I've 'got it'. If you could create some sort of 'vocal mode' that allows for greater acceptance of vibrato I'd be really, *really* happy. Thanks!
