Turn your iPhone or iPod into a musical instrument. It's like having Garageband in your pocket. Your own recording studio, a mini-practice space. If you want to learn to play an instrument, write music, sing along, or record a song, TuneMaker can help — whether you’re a rookie or a rock star.
Tunemaker is a synthesizer, sampleplayer and drum computer in one. You can compose songs, create rhythms, or play live music. It's an easy to use music composition tool that let's anyone create music, even if you've never made music before, because it uses only five notes (instead of the twelve notes of a full piano keyboard). And they always sound good.
Anyone can make the next big hit with Tunemaker. Just by tapping on the screen, you create a drum rhythm, add some bass, strings, guitar or any of the included 16 instruments. TuneMaker is a streamlined digital audio workstation, synthesizer and music sequencer, which can record and play back 16 tracks of virtual instruments, used for creating songs.
The available instruments are:
Short Piano Notes
Long Piano Notes
TuneMaker is great for accompaniment when singing or playing a live musical instrument. But also for DJs, to create rhythms at any speed and use them in their sets. There are 40 rhythms and songs pre-installed in the software. Rock drums, hiphop, classical themes, pop and r&b, to name a few.
You can save your songs for later, locally on your phone. TuneMaker can't save your music as an audio or midi-file (this may be added in a future version). However, you can output your final tune using a lead-out cable from the headphone jack to recording equipment.

The app suits the purpose but what good is it if you can't even put it on your computer in an update you should be able to email youself the song. You create more instruments would be nice like when you here those electro/trance songs that just make you want to dance. you can't even do that add more this should be .99 cents not 2.99. But it is pretty addictive.
Mmmm...pretty good if you ask me
It's a nice app, I've been playing with it in the past hour and think this can keep me entertained in the next couple of days. An option to export files, or to share them with others, would be nice. Other than that, no complaints. Worth the investment.
I love IT!
I have strongly loved GarageBand and this is so similar for only 3 bucks. I speant hours composing some of my newest creations! The only part I don't like is that the electric guitar sounds like crap, bit otherwise it is my new favorite app and I highly recomend it.
