Menus look not terrible and frame rate is 60 in the menu. Car model also looks good here. Once you're in game, though, the whole experience takes a nose dive and crashes into a flame pile of "just aweful".
This is trying to be a rip-off of rocket league and, to the credit, this is the closest to date but that's not saying much. There is no way a player could have even remotely decent control of the car. On screen control layout is terrible. You have to take your finger off left and right turning to power slide. Explain to me how this would work...
Hey, it looks good. The physics of it aren't awful. Trouble is, there is a reason psyonics hasn't put rocket league on mobile. It would be a really heavy lift to make an onscreen control scheme that actually worked 1/3rd as well as a controller. I suppose, with a whole lot of practice and hours of work, you could truly master the controls in Turbo League but that would equate to being able to drive towards the ball semi-regularly.
This game has great potential with the right balance and tweaks of small audio/visual stuff. My biggest critique is with the controls. Rocket league is a hard enough game as it is, and shrinking the controls down to a 5 inch screen with no analog sticks is 4x as difficult. But I think there is a solution that could easily make this game take off on here. Take a look at the controls for the racing app "Rocket Cars." If the developers could integrate similar controls as that game, it may make this game easier and more enjoyable for players. Just an opinion from a fellow developer. Thanks.
Amazing game and very nicely remastered version of rocket league, but there's a few problems. I would like for you to add a feature where we can change the button sizes of our controls and be able to move where we want the buttons. It would help with gameplay and fluent movement. That's about all, great game!
