"This software is simply genius, my grand children enjoy [it]" - JP, Paris, France
"I just wanted to thank you so much for creating and distributing TuxPaint. It is our 3-year-old son's favorite activity. It's been an amazing creative outlet for him--he loves to make up stories while he draws. We've been impressed at how intuitive and fun it has been for him. Keep up the good work!!"
"I have 3 kids; a five year old and 3 year old twins. Now that I've downloaded Tux Paint I can't keep them off my machine. They can't get enough of it. Great job and thanks for creating quality software for young kids that's free, to boot!"

Tux Paint is a award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12 (for example, preschool and K-6). Tux Paint is used in schools around the world as a computer literacy drawing activity. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.
What's New in Version 1.2
Add 670+ stamps.
Add 40+ magics.
Some Minor bug fixes.
Best kids paint app
With the added magic and stamps this finally catches up with the PC version and it's great. My kids love playing this on PC and now it's even easier to use on the go, it's a natural fit for a touch device.
If you are jail broken you can even add your own stamps (I had the normal stamps prior to this release by just dropping the files in the app folder) thanks for adding the magic as well!
Any school using iPads should have this application for the K through 4th at least.
Great paint program for children
TuxPaint is a wonderful painting, drawing program for young children. I have used the PC version for years with my students. They love it. There is one problem with the iPad version that needs correction: the fill paint option in Magic has several colors that are mixed up. Please correct this soon. Thanks.
Tux Paint is an excellent program. It teaches art as well as computer skills. I've used tux paint for many years. I even used it in the computer lab where I used to work. The children loved it. Thank you for such a neat art program for children and adults!
