Take your Spectrum TV experience with you! Enjoy up to 300 live TV channels and up to 25,000 On Demand TV shows and movies when connected to your Spectrum Internet home WiFi network. Plus, when you're on the go, enjoy up to 120 live channels and up to 17,000 On Demand titles anywhere you have an internet connection. (See note on availability below.)
TURN ANY ROOM INTO A TV ROOM
Your subscription to Spectrum TV turns your device into another TV screen and lets you watch live TV and On Demand programming anywhere in your home when connected to your Spectrum Internet home WiFi network. Watch movies from your bedroom, take cooking shows with you to the kitchen or catch up on the news from your breakfast table.
FIND YOUR FAVORITE PROGRAMS
- Filter live TV by category, sort by channel number or network name and quickly recall recently watched channels.
- Create a personalized guide by setting favorite channels.
- Search by title, person or sports team anywhere in the app.
CONTROL YOUR TV AND DVR
Depending on your service area and equipment, you can use your phone or tablet to:
- Change TV channels on your Spectrum receiver.
- Record your favorite TV shows and movies.
- Delete and modify DVR recordings individually or by series.
- Play a DVR recording on your TV (compatible DVRs only).
- Give your Spectrum receivers nicknames to help you know which one you're scheduling recordings on (go to Settings).
SET PARENTAL CONTROLS
When you turn on Parental Controls and set a PIN, you can block shows by channel or rating. You'll need to turn on Parental Controls for each device your household uses, but the channel and rating blocks you set up apply across all devices.
WHAT YOU NEED TO USE THIS APP
- Available programming is based on your Spectrum TV subscription package and whether or not you're connected to a Spectrum Internet home WiFi network.
- A Spectrum username and password are required. If you don’t have one, you can create one at Spectrum.net/login.
- Device requirements: iPhone (4S or newer), iPad (2 or newer) or iPod touch (5th gen or newer) running iOS 8 or above.

NOTE ON AVAILABILITY
We make every effort to offer the same live and On Demand programming that you can watch on your TV, and we frequently add new channels. However, programming restrictions keep us from making every single channel available within the Spectrum TV app. Channel availability also varies by market.

Had this app some time. Want to be fair. Most problems have been on IPad. Which most of the complaints apply to. Seems to work better on IPhone 6. If didn't crash all the time would be ok app. Also get info saying "sorry try later."
This is as close to workable as u are likely to get. Here's the first problem, every few minutes a box pops up saying, "oh we see you are on cellular." You must push Ok. Then it changes to " Oh Welcome home we see you are on WiFI." Then you must push Ok. Then 80% of the time it will not return you to the program you were watching. TRIED to put next to WIFI source still acts up. The "REPORT" box appears regularly and even crashes while reporting the crash.
The Problem you must solve to start with is U must be TWC customer and go to their site and sign up under "My Services" that created user name and password is what will activate the app. Not the password and user name that allows your computer to get on wifi, as I thought originally as many of u did no doubt. Go thru the BS, it's occasionally worth it. YIKES!! All that $$$ and this is the best they can do.
Pathetically bad app, from an awful company
March 20 update: as usual, another bug. This time, fails to launch with "something didn't work quite right" nonsense. Then, if you persevere, you can get past this, only to be told that "live TV isn't available now. Try again later"
The incompetence of these people is staggering.
Feb Update: added a New bug! Now it apologizes for not being able to play a channel and to try again later—while the channel that is unavailable is playing happily behind the dialog. Click ok and the dialog disappears and the unavailable channel plays.
January update: Ah, not content with not fixing user requests, they've added instability to their offering. Nice. Worthless as usual
December update. Still bad. At least the sign-in bug was fixed. Now just randomly freezes. Doesn't anyone bother to test these releases?
Since the "upgrade" in August, this app has gone from bad to worse, starting with deliberately removing AirPlay support.
Calling "customer service" is pointless: they simply don't care.
I've cancelled most of my TWC services now, just internet and starter tv left, and I can't wait for an alternative provider to install fiber in my area, so I can finally get rid of this miserable company.
This app is a joke
Ever since TWC was bought out by Spectrum their service has been HORRIBLE! I shouldn't have to log in at every use especially since I never logged out to begin with. As much money as I pay there is NO excuse for this app to not work properly. I am tired of giving money for a product that's never delivered. I won't even get started on how service is in the house.......Apple TV is looking pretty good about now. The boxes constantly stop working and have to be replaced. Their app is the least reliable app available. The customer service is nonexistent. Time Warner use to have the option of rating service after a call but Spectrum quickly done away with that because they know their service is the least inferior.
