What's New in Version 1.3
This release is the first of a larger 2-part update designed to give TwIM the best messaging UI for sharing content.
TwIM 1.3 brings the Attachments UI. It’s a re-designed toolbar UI with natural message attachments. Now images, GIFs, videos, URLs, tweets and maps appear in-line, the same as they will after sending.
Also in this release:
- Send images natively through Twitter, with the new Media APIs
- Added support for sending GIFs and videos, which also send natively through Twitter
- Messages continue sending while app is moved to the background
- Displays notification for failed messages when in the background
There are also a number of bug fixes:
- Fixes appearance of mobile twitter links
- Fixes support for sharing tweets from other twitter clients
- Fixes tweet links not opening in Twitter app
- Fixes occasional theming glitches with navigation bars
- Fixes scroll issues when used via there share sheet
