Expected more from a Collector's Edition!
I thoroughly enjoyed the original, and therefore expected a game of equal pleasure this time around. I won't go so far as to call is a waste of time because the graphics, hidden object games and puzzles were entertaining enough that I wanted to finish the game. However, the game was very short, and I was left wanting more when I finished in approximately four hours in expert mode. Additionally, the story line is disjointed and lacked some details that may have clarified the vague ending.
Overall, there are much better games for Mac available from Alawar! Had I purchased this game for more than $3.99 during a sale week, I would have been peeved :(
The story is pretty much intriguing, and not the generic plain stuff that we see in most H.O.G., it actually kept me wondering what was next. The art is way better than the previous game.
The one I originally installed had a small bug in it, but the support from Alawar was really good.
I rate this game 5 stars because it is truly an evolution from the previous one, and because it is really interesting and just long enough not to become a tedious monster… Totally recommended
Fun. Well worth it.
Had a good time with this game. I liked the puzzles and found them not instantly predictable. I play these sort of games on the Easy Hints level because I get easily bored with walking from room to room. I don't know if you get the game commentary on the harder levels but the commentary was often funny. It was much more than a simple hidden object game which tend to be tedious and repetitive. Graphics and animation were enjoyable. Well worth the money.
