What's New in Version 5.4
Bug fixes, stability fixes, and app optimizations
One of my favorite things to do in my free time.
I LOVE live-streaming, I love to just play games while interacting with some of my fans chatting with each other. This app is almost perfect, but I do have one problem. When I watch livestreams, it freezes every 15-30 minutes. It wouldn’t be a big issue if I wasn’t a speed runner who likes to look at my chat. Because I have to watch my streams to check if everything is okay and talk to the chat, I have to have my stream loaded up on my phone. But I have to stop and refresh the stream every time it freezes. It wastes my speedrunning time. It just a stupid nitpick but I just need to point it out. I don’t know if it’s my internet but yeah. I rate this 4 Stars, obviously.
One major problem
Alright, I haven’t used this app much so far, but there was one major issue I noticed right off the bat within my first day using it. I tried to set up my profile, but it wouldn’t let me change my profile picture. I then decided to look up how to do it just Incase I was doing it wrong, but apparently you just can’t change your profile picture on the app, you have to do it on the pc. What is even the point of the app if it’s more limited then the computer version? Is the feature sold separately? I hear that this app focuses on modern day video game streamers, so I guess that would make sense.
Good luck finding past broadcasts!
Yeah this app keeps getting worse. It took me forever how to figure out how to close a stream I was watching, what once was swipe left, now sends the tiny video ALL OVER THE SCREEN.
and FORGET about watching past broadcasts! I tried to watch a stream that I knew was a day or two ago, the past broadcasts are completely disorganized. The past broadcast only shows from one that day and then a bunch from MONTHS ago?? Makes no sense !
I honestly am going to delete the app at this point. I'm better off watching the YT mirror of the stream if I miss it. Sorry you're missing out on ad revenue, Twitch. Maybe if you fixed the interface, and fixed past broadcasts, then I'd come back.
