Twitter is now available for Apple Watch.
Tweet, Retweet, reply and favorite in a flash. Quickly see recent Tweets and top trends. Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick on the wrist. It's Twitter, but littler.
Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.
See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at concerts, sporting events, and more.
Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.
Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.
What's New in Version 6.35.1
Send a private message without limits: now you're no longer limited to 140 characters when writing a Direct Message.
the app itself is whatever, I'm not complaining. but one thing I would like is if they made it capable to change the theme color like you can do on the desktop version of Twitter! I love the way the desktop version looks and it'd be pretty stellar if u could choose any color you want as the theme on the mobile version too. Because the new update is nice but I don't like the bright blue on my profile or anyone else's at all. The desktop version where each user has their own personal profile color is awesome and the fact that when you're on your timeline the color you chose is the color for all the links and buttons and notifications is the best part of the desktop website. And I think that would be a very cool addition of you made that an option on the mobile app. just saying
Design irks and functionality issues
I am not a fan of the decision to invert the white and blue banner at the top of the feed. There's too much white on the page and very little to balance it out with. I also noticed the blue color was slightly changed to a highlighter shade that's sort of too much. The previous shade of blue was perfect. Please get rid of the "show more tweets" break and just show me my tweets. It's very annoying to have to press that button and scroll down 4 or 5 times every time I check Twitter to be able to see all of the tweets on my timeline. Also since the switch to new formatting for quoting tweets, you are no longer able to click on a tweet and see what other users have said if they quote instead of just replying. Please work some magic on these issues.
DONT FIX THINGS THAT DONT NEED TO BE FIXED
Don't fix what's not broken! The new Twitter layout is so ugly. Inverted white and blue layout? It was fine the way it was! Also, on different accounts that I have. The app layout looks different. You guys keep making more updates but its not fixing anything! Its only making everything worse! The layout takes up too much space. It takes up the entire screen when viewing a picture without clicking on it! And the usernames are under your name instead of beside it. Why? What are all of these useless changes? I also don't need that stupid Ad Promoting button beside my icon. No normal person would use that. Get rid of it! It takes up too much space. This app keeps getting messier and messier. My eyes hurt just looking at it. Fix all of it!
