Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about all the things you love.

See what your favorite celebs and athletes are chatting about. Be the first to hear breaking news. Catch a glimpse behind the scenes at concerts, sporting events, and more.

Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text, photos, and video to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way.

Get inspired. Be social. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be.

Twitter is now available for Apple Watch: Tweet, Retweet, reply and like in a flash. Quickly see recent Tweets and top trends. Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick on the wrist. It's Twitter, but littler.

Did you want to unfollow? Sorry, but that's not allowed.

My account was recently hacked and twitter notified me of suspicious activity on my account but failed to freeze the account or stop the hacker from continuing on my profile the way email systems like gmail or other social media sites like FB do. Then after reclaiming my account, I realized the bot that hacked my account followed 1000 random people, tweeted porn, and liked random posts. I had to go through and manually delete everything and I couldn't do it on my phone because every time I tried to unfollow someone, they would get re-followed immediately (flaw in the app maybe)? On my laptop I found out that Twitter has an unfollow ban limit which is beyond frustrating because I don't want to spend days unfollowing people manually because some bot hacked my account. I've been logging on daily now and each time I can see that I have more people "I follow" which I'm guessing is due to the fact that the people I had unfollowed are being re-followed because I hit the unfollow limit the other day.

If Facebook doesn't have an unfriend limit then why the heck do you think you need an unfollow limit?!

Twitter works for me

I wrote this before & still feel the same. I prefer Twitter out of all the social media out there. I like having to edit myself down to 140 characters as I tended to be too verbose sometimes. Fixing to upgrade a fair amount and I'm not always loving their upgrades but since it's not something I have control over I just deal with it and imagine that they must have their reasons. I'm more of a fitting broke don't fix it kind of girl. Perhaps if they highlighted why they're doing the improvements somehow then things would make more sense. I love most of the Twitter community and I don't pay much attention to buying Twitter followers or any of those types. They do annoy me but that's life. Maybe if they had an automatic filter for such types that would help too.

Apple Watch app functionality is back!!!

Revised review: The Apple Watch functionality is back and works well again. Having access to trending tweets on the watch is awesome!

The app for iPhone has always been a great app with a relatively easy to use UI

Original review: The Apple Watch features no longer work. Timelines and trends now just say "tweets aren't loading right now". This was a very good Apple Watch app that has now been rendered completely useless.
