Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Two Timer provides you two interval timers that you set and forget and they repeat over and over. This is ideal for run/walk training such as Jeff Galloway's method or any other kind of training where you need two repeating time intervals.
You no longer have to keep checking your watch. There are no complicated interval setups to go through. You just set each timer to the desired value from 1-60 minutes and hit Go. The timers will automatically alternate until you hit Stop. Audio cues will let you know when the interval is up. Two time displays shows the time elapsed for the current interval as well as total elapsed time.
You can even listen to music. Just start your iPod playlist first then start the app
What's New in Version 1.1
Quitting app saves state so that you can resume intervals where you left them upon restart. A phone call or bathroom break will no longer cause you to have to restart your interval.
Interval resolution increased down to seconds.
....this will be a great App, hopefully. The idea is beautiful, but two improvements would make it perfect:
1) flexibility in sounds and vibration option for timer notification. It is a huge pain to other runners (I am totally a middle of the pack guy) to have beeping sounds going off all the time on a race course. Have vibrations indicate the timers would really be great. Also, being able to distinguish the two timers separately (since usually one means "start running) and the other means "stop running") would be great, ESPECIALLY if one of those options was different vibration lengths or patterns. Timer Heaven!
2) GOTTA have it run simultaneously with other running Apps like GPS Apps for runners and music playing.
To add incentive, I, at least, would gladly pay a few bucks (instead of the current 99c) riser these features. So hopefully, someday soon. But thanks for a great App and idea in its current form!
Perfect! Exactly what I needed. Simple and easy to use. All I wanted was to be able to set one timer for walking and one for running and get a signal when it was time to switch, and this lets me do that. I can also play my music and still hear the timer, and it continues to work when I turn the screen off.
I think this works great for my purposes. I'm also training with the Jeff Galloway method and its perfect. I can use my iTunes and set it to whatever interval I want. I have a separate Garmin GPS watch, so I guess as long as you don't plan on using your phone for anything else, it'll do!
