I like this pretty much and I’m going to buy it both on my Mac and iPhone. Please consider more integration between the two apps. For example I’d like to get a notification on my phone and MacBook when the time of a task is exceeding the predetermined amount. Also the timer on the iPhone app is very confusing I don’t know how can I set it. Since I put my iPhone on do not disturb mode I won’t get the notification sound when the task time is exceeding. That’s a problem. Also the Apple Watch app needs to be able to do things like pausing the task(the command that I use the most and ofc when I pause it it should be paused both on my iPhone and MacBook Pro simultaneously). Please consider acting about these features. Thank you a lot for the iPhone X update. Honestly I’d be least interested if it wasn’t updated for my phone! I prefer this app to things 3 because it shows the worked amounts in hours. What I cannot do in things 3.
Best Time Keeping App I’ve Found
I’ve looked high and low for time keeping apps; Everything from simple timers, to apps that automatically watch the apps you’re working on. Tyme has proven to be the best tool I’ve found for keeping track of time. I’ve got the app on my phone, watch, and two macs, so iCloud syncing is awesome. That’s also one of the biggest problems with Tyme, iCloud syncing. It works, but it can be slow at times. There have been updates that have made it better, but it’s still one of my only small complaints about this app. Other than that, this app is critical to my workflow.
2018 UPDATE: I think for the most part, the iCloud sync issues have been resolved. Can’t really find anything bad to say about this app now. If you need to track time, buy this app!
Great app for tracking time
I find this a while back and used it on a limited basis, then started relying on it more and more. Paired with the companion Mac app, this is now my primary time tracking system for billable projects. The UI is clean and easy to use and I can quickly check my time per project or client, by day, week or month. I wish there were a few more options for customizing the PDF reports and so forth but that's just a nitpick. The developer regularly pushes out updates so I'm confident it's only going to get better.
