App Update Renders Apple App Unusable
This used to be a good app, but is now unusually on my iPad, which is running the latest version of IOS. After it became unusable because it would either boot me off and tell me I had too many simultaneous streams (which was untrue) or latch on to a channel and not release it, even after restarting the iPad.
Upon advice to technical support, I deleted and attempted to reinstall the app. It wouldn't even reinstall.
I am a GigaPower customer, have two mobile lines and home phone. I am also an AT&T shareholder and am embarrassed by this now worthless app.
I have lost the ability to watch TV on my iPad. This app deserves a zero but I can't rate it less than one.
Unhappy NC Customer
Update--after a very long wait to download, the app finally appears to be usable, so I'm raising my rating to 4, but the company really needs to tell users that the new update will require reinstalling the app and some pain along the way.
Always loved this, not so much anymore.
This has always been one of my favorite apps, love watching shows on the go and all that. But ever since the last update (Aug 16?) I have received nothing but error messages, playback is lagging, and the app will just crash. I also agree we should be able to watch recorded shows. I didn't pay AT&T all this money for the cable, Internet and apps just to be ignored. I appreciate all the hard work put into this app, but seriously, never one problem until latest update.
I'm taken back by some of these poor reviews. I can understand frustration with uverse itself, but the app is great! Lots of detailed functionality, always being updated. Probably the best thing about uverse to be honest.
