BEST TV SERVICE EVER!!
I was so happy when I heard U-verse was coming to our area that I was checking the internet every other day to see where & when it would be available!!! I have not been disappointed or let down ever since getting U-verse!! With our previous cable service: the rates were raised every time we turned around; the channels were being dropped & others put on that we had no interest in; there was always some kind of problem where the tv connections were interrupted all the time.........on and on. With U-verse, we have had very little service interruption & the picture reception is crystal clear compared to the cable tv.
I will never go to a SATELLITE TV SERVICE either!!! My brother had that and they kept dropping channels because of wanting more money from channels to be on their service ...... especially the channels that are already FREE to be over the airwaves!!!
Does most thing very well
No problem streaming on iPad 4 or iPhone 6. My main beef is what AT&T does not allow it to do. While rain and clouds do not effect service, in my local area, lightning drives it crazy. My street runs across iron ore deposits. When in a lighting storm, system reboots repeatedly from the power surge coming into it via power and phone lines and energized soil. We have second most lighting strikes per year in America. Why in the world will AT&T not allow us to watch our saved pre-recorded movies when the service goes down? When signal is lost, tv or iPad are not allowed to access prerecorded content and this really frosts me. Another point, iPad cannot access prerecorded content at anytime! Unlike direct tv which at&t has bought. Annoying! Back on point, app works fine. It works better than the direct tv remote and app. Again, but some of the limitations are insane.
Consumer Friendly and Handy
I love this app, easy setup as long as you know you member ID which is on my bill or tech support can provide. I love that it's Guide shows ONLY my subscription plan and channels. I love the LIVE tab it has because it shows me only the networks that provide it. I love the fact that I can program all my tv receivers and give them names so I know what room it controls, especially since my family keeps misplacing them, I can change channels, record, watch anywhere at home or away TOO. Best quality app ever. Love it mostly on tablet because it's huge screen. Awesome app!
