What's New in Version 4.6.2
Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Enjoy AT&T U-verse!
Does most thing very well
No problem streaming on iPad 4 or iPhone 6. Me main beef is what AT&T does not allow it to do. While rain and clouds do not effect it, in my local area, lightning drives it crazy. My street runs across iron ore deposits. I have worked on Uverse sense it introduction into our state as an AT&T tech. In most cases, it is an superior service. When in a lighting storm, system reboots repeatedly from the power surge coming into it via power and phone lines and energized soil. We have second most strike per year in America. Why in the world will AT&T not allow us to watch our saved pre-recorded movies when the service goes down? Just because outside signal is lost is no reason to keep us from watching our pre-recorded shows. I pay plenty for this premium quality service all bundled up. But this really frosts me. Back on point, app works fine, but some of the limitations are insane.
Quite awhile ago you put out an update that added Comcast Sportsnets to watch live through this app. Comcast Sportsnets Chicago is constantly appearing and disappearing from the app. One day it will be there and you can watch it but then it will disappear for several days. Sometimes it's there and has a little icon next to it that says you can watch it live but you can't. I've called in to att support so many times. It's useless. They don't know what department runs the app and nobody seems to know anything. Then they give me the runaround and tell me that Comcast Sportsnet runs the app and are turning off their channel themselves. I've called Comcast and they told me they have no control over the app and it's you guys at att that keep messing with it. Will you people please get your crap together. If you say that a channel is supposed to be available through the app then I expect it to be available. Not sporadically available. Fix this. It's been over a year already.
I've been a u-verse customer for several years now and like it a lot. This app is great for the fact that you can watch shows from it on your phone and actually set to record from away from home, (which I've used that feature many times).
Pretty much my only "complaint" about this app, is often times after an update is done on the app, I have to go in and reprogram my favorites. That's more of an annoyance but doesn't affect the operation of the app.
I do like the remote control feature, so when my kids are watching something, I torment them by using the remote on my phone to stop and rewind the shows they're watching. That's always fun. But this is a good app and I would recommend it.
