Bad Customer Service
What is the deal, AT&T? This app worked fine one day and the next it says it's now obsolete. And I did nothing to my phone. It forced me to download the new version and this new version is worthless. It crashes and crashes and crashes. Randomly, I'll get the remote screen to lock onto a receiver. Now I don't have a reliable way to control my u-verse.
Why am I still paying for u-verse? What jerks!
(And BTW... The bozo that says users having trouble with this app aren't tech savy is talking about himself. It's an iPhone! There's nothing to be tech savy about. You install it and it works or it doesn't. There are no installation settings to be techie about. Two of our phones don't work. Both are on IOS 9.2.1. The one iPhone that does seem to work is on IOS 9.3.4.)
Works perfect for me.
I've read many other reviews and apparently people is having issues with this app. Not my case. I've been using this app for 2 years now. I may have 1 or 2 issues. I restarted the app and worked fine again. I use to use more the app lately than my remote. My phone has become in a kind of "smart remote" from where I control most of my devices. May be it's because I use iOS, (iPhone and iPad)? Don't know. But 5 stars app for me so far.
Updated yet again to "fix" issues
Had this app for awhile and JUST wrote a review right before the recent update. This. Is. Garbage. For the past three months it has repeatedly said "This service is temporarily unavailable" when I try to sign in.
Double checked my info, it's correct. Tried restarting my phone, didn't help. Deleted and reinstalled the app once a day for two weeks, nothing helped. If not resolved in a week I'm paying to get out of my contract.
To anyone thinking of switching, I recommend dish network their app has never quit or glitched to any of my family that uses it and it's about $25 cheaper a month on dish networks regular rates compared to att's "special" 6 month promo rates.
