Well because the one person I seen read reviews in the sea have U-verse they called me on combining my phone and DirecTV because I didn’t get all the stuff through the Internet unfortunately U-verse is not available in my neighborhood and they said it up as a hotspot which does not provide a enough speed to drive Directv so I get nothing. so far they’ve refunded my money that I’ve paid. but the hassle of canceling cable and then reinstall double and triple check to make sure that you have U-verse in your neighborhood my in-laws have it it works perfectly fine is great and AT&T or DirecTV will not give me a estimated time when I will have U-verse so good luck getting it.
Generally a goid app
App is generally good. However, the in app remote control stopped working. It stopped recognizing my receivers. Tried all the prescribed fixes (reboot gateway, make sure devices and receivers were enabled, etc), but nothing worked.
Streaming video is choppy at times. Not as reliable as what it should be. Also very disappointed that I cannot stream local channels from within the app. Because of this, I cannot watch major networks and miss major sporting events that are broadcast on major networks when I travel.
U-verse mobile App - Voice remote control
Ive been told the U-verse mobile app allows you to use voice remote control capabilities.
How does that work? I do not see a “Speak”like they tell you there is. U-verse needs to come up with a voice remote. Comcast’s is awesome.
On another note, why don’t current customers (who have been with AT&T for close to 10 years) have options to get their equipment updated???? Mine is going on 10 years now.
