Satisfied. Never had any problems
I'm content with the app, however, I've never used any other banking apps, so my ability to compare is limited. No glitches. Loads quickly. I can check my account transactions, pay bills, deposit checks, pay my credit card bill, etc. and I've not had any issues with that. It is a tad annoying to answer security questions as often as you do, but I'd rather there be too many than not enough. I recently moved, so my nearest brick and mortar US Bank location is a little far away. I've been able to take care of all my banking needs through the app. No need to drive to the bank. Overall, I'm satisfied and I feel like the bad reviews given are overly critical.
It works, if you do it right!
Ok people here's the skinny on this app. It does work, IF you do it correctly. You have to endorse your checks before you deposit! It does say to do so, in the "How it Works" section.
Now, U.S. Bank, doing that is not very user-friendly. You NEED to put ALL instructions in the deposit section, so that your customers are reminded of what they need to do if they're in a hurry or sometimes forgetful, like me. Putting the instructions in a completely different section is impractical.
Also, if the check doesn't read for some reason, you need to have the ability to say what isn't reading. If the check isn't endorsed, a message needs to appear, saying "Sorry, we couldn't read your check. Did you endorse it? Are all four corners visible? Is it lying on a contrasting surface?" THEN, your app will be 4 or 5 star worthy.
Better than the rest is the best
The things that you wang to use on a banking app such as transaction history, pending/cleared payments and updated balance information is done very well. I'm additionally impressed by the bill payment tools and individual customization tools this app offers that does a great job of keeping your reoccurring bills all viewed and paid in one place. Also these tools allow the user to change ATM pins, send transfers, and locate the nearest branch or ATM in any area. Nothing too confusing but intuitive enough for intelligent people to get most of their banking done quickly and in one place any time that's most convenient. I give it an overall A-
