I’m a sucker

Survey ER

I’ve been a driver for nearly 2 years with a 4.98 rating and I drive Select in the Bay Area . I have literally gone 2 days without a Select request for a total of 15 hours. I toggle airplane mode to make sure I’ve got a good connection etc . Also since yesterday my ap is some version we used to use a year ago and I can no longer receive promotions , well let’s get me a ride first.
Lastly , the queue system for the local airports in San Jose , and Oakland are enfuriating! I will often be in Select mode and be “first in queue” and stay waiting 2 hours only to see me fall down in line position and end up waiting 4 hours before I give up wasting most of my day. This seems to happen at least half the time. That’s San Jose . Oakland airport , well it’s just crap. Useless .
I am nearly homeless every time Rent is due now and these things all make it all the more difficult . PLEASE address these issues and get computer software people to address the nonstop issues ! Please.

Hey there! Firstly, we would like to thank you for being a loyal partner of our services. We're always looking to improve your experience with Uber and this certainly sounds like something we need to dive into. It would be great if you could provide us these specific details, by writing in at and we'll follow up.

If you love idiot rabbit holes, you’ll love Uber!

I have been a Lyft/Uber driver for almost 3 years-it is great for retired people like me, due to flexibility and lack of schedule. Additionally, I love meeting people and my rating reflects that.

Uber is a hot mess, a shitshow, if you will. The app often doesn’t work properly, almost daily. When a driver does help desk tickets, we get back insane canned responses that have no bearing on the issues. There is no apparent chain of command for drivers to say “refer this to someone in corporate who knows this issue”; therefore, drivers must explain over and over what the problem is, then just give up in frustration.

Uber has recently begun sending out absurd PSAs, for things like “don’t drive tired” or “we at Uber are against drunken driving” (duh). Trying to sound like an actual civically engaged company, which they are not.

When I first began driving for Uber, I figured out quickly how poorly-run it is...told my hubs if Uber ever goes public we will have to be sure our 401k is not invested anywhere near Uber...sure way to lose $$. This did not improve with Kalanick’s departure.

If you love being self employed, meeting people and making a little extra $, drive for Uber; however, if you are well-acquainted with the actual business world, you’ll have to check your knowledge and common sense. If you are fortunate to live in a city where Lyft is the biggie, do yourself a favor and only drive for Lyft.

We understand your concern here and we really appreciate the time you took to help us improve. The feedback from our drivers is important and goes a long way in helping us polish the finer details of the app and experience. We would appreciate it if you could send out these details to and we will take it up from there.

I heart the 12 hour limit

It’s beneficial to the luxury and black and suv because we are always on standby keeping our cars on low miles and that is considered test time which isn’t a driving time and the best of all the more the other select and black drivers and suv there on the road means there is s time frame free of drivers by force of fatigue regulation that when I want to drive and make money I can and will be less wait time from less drivers on the road that have no way of being online thank you uber whoever thought of this is genius because it’s surging for select( harmonic LaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAhhHhhhhHhhHhhhhhh)
