- After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email.

Horrible Customer Service
I have been a loyal Uber user for the last 2 years, i'm a traveling student (which means my income in basically nothing). I took an Uber the other day: Normal ride, no issues, quiet driver. 3 days later I received a notice that I would be charged an extra $80 for a mess that occurred in the back seat during my trip. I reached out to Uber through the app (because unlike LYFT they do not have a customer service number) and tried to explain the situation: like always I was in the front seat as a personal preference, and that mess could not have been caused by me.
I received emails from Uber saying they acknowledge my message but the situation had been "investigated" and they would not refund the amount. I tried for a day responding with emails back and forth trying to get my refund until Uber decided to stop responding. I will no longer be using Uber and I implore you if you're reading this to not waste your time and money. Lyft is just as effective and I have been happy with their service to date. Also they have a customer service phone number, so you can actually talk to someone about any issues! DELETE UBER, DOWNLOAD LYFT!

We update the app as often as possible to remove all of its negative reviews and fool more people into getting and using uber. Check back next week to see the latest way that we exploit our drivers, incentivizing them to work long hours without developing any new skills or educating themselves, all the while using the profits we make off of our drivers' hard work to steal self-driving car secrets from google so that we can deploy a fleet of self-driving cars in 10 years (or less), thereby rendering our drivers, who have spent 10 driving driving and making loads of money for us, totally redundant to the workforce and thus unemployed (and unemployable). Oh, also we track your location when not using the app, and we don't let you tip your driver without cash.

You took away the option of sharing location only while using the app. Guess what's easier than having to go into my settings every time to re-enable location and disable location?? ...using Lyft from now on. Put location sharing back to the user's choice.
ADDITIONALLY, I consider this company to be a bunch of scumbags for releasing a new update every few days to wipe out the negative reviews. There are no real updates to the app. If there were it would be from listening to the rage of their users and giving back the option of location while only using the app. And I'll continue to give 1 star until they do.
Update: Uber recently sent an email "noticing" that I disabled location for the App. Well no crap, that's what happens when you don't care about user privacy. I'm sure they had to send out a lot of those emails to others. My location will remain disabled until they bring back the option for only when using the app, and my business continues to go to Lyft.
