Faster than others but...
This delivery app is much faster than others in my area. However, there are a few things I would like the app to change. Please, can you add a section where customers can write on the order that there are placing. I sometimes want my order more customizable than what my options are. For example, when I want no ice on my drink there isn’t an option for that so I have to stick with the ice. Or when I know there other drink options at the restaurant I would like to be able to have the option to swap a drink for another one. Lastly, I want the customer service feedback to be faster than it is. I want a confirmation email right away when I have a problem on one of my orders. Recently, I was missing fries for all of my meals in one of my orders. And I did report it. But, I want to know sooner than the time given that I have someone caring about me. The app should also offer a customer service phone number on the spot for those that want it. Uber eats is what I will stick with, but I’d like to see these few changes. Thank you!
Update: I was refunded later that day. Appreciate the help Uber! Still would like a confirmation right away though that you received the complaint. But, refund was done in same day so that evens it out. Changing to five stars for now.

Hey there! Personalized notes can be added at the time of placing an order. Select your desired item to be added to your cart and right before selecting the quantity needed, you can write a note under the Special Instructions section. Tried to fixed my own problem, but instead got punished for it - thieves.
So I used to use Postmates and Door Dash until I noticed how they didn’t care for customer service, and if anything happened with you’re experience with them then you’re SOL. I used UberEats and I do love how if the restaurant makes a mistake they’re willing to help you out, but I had the worst experience just because I made a mistake and tried to fix the issue myself. If I would’ve been able to cancel my order within the 5 seconds that I placed it, the the restaurant would have never made it and I could’ve re-ordered; however, I like several others have had to deal with waiting on the line just to get horrendous customer service from representatives that transfer you without consent and have to explain to the next unhelpful person. I’ve never had to deal with something like this and feel like I shouldn’t have to especially if I tried to fix my own mistake without needing my money back. If your company is going to allow this type of behavior and service over a petty few dollars, then I’m willing to scoop down to your level and actually dispute the charges and be done with your app because when someone doesn’t give you your money you cancel their accounts so I heard. And to anyone reading this don’t make the same mistake I did, make sure that you are 100% certain that’s what you want, or else you’ll go through the same ordeal as I did trying to get it resolved.
