Funny but still some problems
I love uberhumor and am very glad this app was created. There are two problems I have run into though. First if you click an add, the only way to go back to the images is closing the app and restarting it after double clicking the home button and closing the app completely. This can get annoying because you lose your spot in the picture line up and have to scroll through all of them again to get back. The second problem is the long pictures that look like film strips. I have the iPhone 4 and even when I zoom in, it's impossible to view the image all the way. Also you can't view the title if its too long to fit up top and it blocks the pictures sometimes. The app itself is hilarious but it's new and they still have some kinks to work out
How to fix the ad issue
First off - stop complaining and find a solution, ya spoiled spoiled children.
The uberhumor app is not perfect, but it is more than we had a year ago. It's progress.
The add portion at the bottom of the screen will take over if you accidentally touch it, which is quite easy to do. The fix is to reboot the app. Go to your home screen by pressing the home button once. Now quickly double tap the home button. Locate the uberhumor app at the bottom, it's probably the first to the left. Hold your finger on it for a few seconds and a little red minus will appear. Tap the minus. Problem fixed, go back into the app and the ad is gone.
To prevent it in the future: stop eating so much and get thinner fingers.
Love UH but the app needs work
The set up in it is straight forward. I can navigate just fine. Something needs to be done about the pop ups though. Ads pop up in different languages and you can't close them, forcing you to restart the app, which works for about 2 minutes then the pop ups are back.
And to also clear up the "fat fingers" nonsense, I've tested it, and ads take up my screen WITHOUT me even touching ANY part of the screen after I hit the icon on my home screen.
