Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Uberlayer puts one image on top of all other windows of your computer screen at its actual size. Proof a design to the pixel, watermark a presentation or show off to colleagues with that hot picture of your new ... puppy.
Copy & paste, drag & drop or use the layer menu to open almost any image source.
+ Displays JPG, PNG (also with transparency), TIFF, GIF and PSD.
+ Paste images from the clipboard.
+ Keyboard control for pixel precise positioning.
+ Click 'through' the images in locked mode.
+ System wide drag & drop support.
What's New in Version 1.3
* Setting your layer with a fixed transparency (like Photoshop's 0-9 keys)
* Zoom your image to 50% and 200% especially for the new Retina displays! (⌘+1 ⌘+2 ⌘+3)
Exactly what I was looking for
I tried another app “Overlay” first and it’s missing key features that Uberlayer has - most importatnly ability to control the scale of the overlay image. I was looking for a way to compare Mobile design concepts (comps) to actual working App screens to see if layout was correct etc. This works perfectly for this and other scenarios I have in mind.
Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for to implement designer comps. This, paired with xScope, means less time I have to spend building and running my app to get a pixel perfect design implemented. Most of my team bought it yesterday after seeing it. No complaints so far. Already saved the price of the app in the time it's saved me.
Please add Full screen support!
Love this app, I rountinely grab screenshots and tweak in browser live to get things to match up with my designs.
Would love to see full screen support added so I can drag it around in Spaces as I have multiple monitors and use Spaces frequently.
