What's New in Version 5.2
Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements for:
+ OTA Updates
+ Bluetooth Smart for remote power on/off
This was a pretty long process, but trust me it works. Make sure your speaker is out to date, just getting started takes a while I KNOW! If you just double tap the connection button and wait long enough it will work. Once that's done make sure to do the same for the other, both speakers are updated there should be a thing at the bottom that that shows another speaker. Drag it up to the speaker showing and you are done, I really hope that this helps everyone. Remember to take your time, once it is ready enjoy
I bought 3 Boom 2 speakers for myself and family this Christmas. So far I had a few problems with connecting but once I worked out the kinks all is good. I've connected two speakers so far and they are working great. I was thinking that I might buy a few more and place them throughout the house. I did not know prior to buying these speakers that you can connect up to 50 at one time. UE should be advertising the number of speakers that can be connected. I'm impressed and the sound quality is great.
Updates aren't through Apple
So here's my problem. I was given a UE Boom speaker for Christmas, and when I downloaded and tried to use the app, I got a warning that I needed to update the app to be able to use the remote and other features advertised on the package. But I had just downloaded the app. So it should have been the most current, right? Wrong. The most current app is only available at the Logitech website, if--you guessed it--you give up all your personal information. So aside from the obvious (Logitech is forcing you to contribute to their mailing list), why is Logitech evading Apple and the standards I expect from Apple's App developers?
