"Ultra Translator with Speech" is without exaggeration the best online-translator for Mac OS X, and you can see why:
★ Machine translation cannot be compared to a human one that is an indisputable fact. But "Ultra Translator with Speech" provides the maximum result, giving simultaneous access to three online translation services — Google, Microsoft and Yahoo!. So you can choose the variant of translation that seems best.
★ Translation can be vocalized in eighteen languages by professional speech synthesizers (via online services), which are close in quality to real human speech. Available languages: English, Catalan, Danish, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Chinese.
★ "Ultra Translator with Speech" is contextual translation service (works in any Cocoa applications, but only Safari is is officially supported)
★ Simple, clean and functional interface. There is nothing excessive in it.
To activate "Ultra Translator", open System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Services and check the "Translate" option.

Awesome App! Latest update works perfectly!
I find this "Service Menu" option to be very useful when working in web pages with multiple languages, and have used it at least once a day since installing it in April 2011.
Recently things began to appear broken in Safari and did not work correctly, so I wrote the developer Yuri, asking if Safari updates had rendered his app useless.
Here is the text of his response from 2 days ago. (He replied to my service request within 30 minutes which is outstanding in my opinion)
>It is not a Safari problem. Google will close public traslation API in December.
>>"The courtesy limit for existing Translate API v2 projects created prior to August 24, 2011 will be reduced to zero on December 1, 2011. In addition,
>>the number of requests your application can make per day will be limited." - Google.
>But a new version of Ultra Translator already in review in App Store! It wil be available within the week. New version does not use official API, just web
>requests like original Google Translate site.
I just tested the update on several sites in Safari 5.1.1, and FireFox 7.0.1, and this update is working flawlessly!
Just select your text to be translated, type Option+T and voila! Excellent translation!
Thank you so much for your work Yuri, your program has become for me, indispensable!
