Excellent service!
I am a newish sneaker collector and very much enjoying using this app to track my collection. I love tracking when I wear my shoes! The best part of the app to me is the authentication check feature. (Paid option) I have authenticated all my sneakers that did not come from a retail store. I found out that two of the shoes I purchased from a particular store did not pass the authentication and was able to show the store the app and they refunded my money.
The customer service is excellent. I have reached out to them on Instagram numerous times and got immediate responses. I was able to get help with authentications and get a picture added for a shoe that wasn’t in the database very quickly!! They also followed up to see if all my questions had been addressed. I would 100% recommend this app!
Innovative Concept
I don't think any app out there is doing what Unboxed is doing. If you've been around the sneaker game long enough, you're familiar with the concept of a "cook group". Essentially, Unboxed has elevated and legitimized that concept with a tangible platform that creates community, while opening doors to facilitate the sneaker hobby. There is a subscription fee to unlock all the benefits, but in my personal experience it has been more than worth it. From drop/restock alerts, to authentication services, it's pretty much a one stop shop for anything you'd need.
A lot of the negative reviews are centered around the cost of the full benefits, but if you want to get these benefits anywhere else, you'll have to pay (and more often than not, a lot more) anyway. This is a very accessible option for the amount of benefits you get. I've personally been able to cop sneakers on drops through their alert system, and I've legit-checked over 10+ pairs in my collection.
I personally recommend the app, it's is well worth it even for the cost!!
Awesome app to sort your collections. Plus subscription worth it.
I love the app, it sorts my whole collection and even gives approximate street value. When you dedicate time you can really sort out your rotation and switch it up. Their database has nearly every sneaker out even some obscure shoes like my roshes, diors, and bapes from the early 2000s. The developers respond to your emails within reason and are very responsive. I paid for their plus subscription and I get push notifications for most hype releases. The notifications link you directly to the page that released the drop for your chance to buy. Notifications are consistently on the dot. The app also gives me notifications within 10 minutes of a hot release such as recent J4s and Aj1s. I’m no reseller just your standard collector. They have images of most of the sneakers and lists them several ways. I look forward to their updates and the future of the app in terms or versatility. 5/5 stars from me. I highly recommend this app.
