Description
Ever wanted to start your own cult? Or wished you could summon eldritch horror-terrors from the abyssal depths from whence we all came? Well here's your chance!
Underhand is a CCG (Cultist Card Game) that puts you into the role of a cult leader. Your job is to manage your cult's resources effectively as you respond to different event cards drawn from the deck. How you respond to these events will determine how far you'll go-- will you succeed in summoning one, or maybe even all of the Ancient Ones? Or will you be just another would-be upstart falling prey to the trials and tribulations of time? Only you can decide!

THRILLING
Whether you're facing a treacherous obstacle or encountering an unexpected boon, every decision you make has tangible consequences manifesting as the current state of your hand. Underhand will have you on the edge of your seat as you walk the tightrope between having too many resources and not enough.
IMMERSIVE
With stunning, almost eerie visuals and sound, the stage is set for the perfect atmospheric experience. Every now and then, the in-game radio will react to your choices and broadcast the game-world's current state of affairs as affected by you, mastermind cult leader supreme-- all so you can keep up with the latest happenings and make more happenings... well, happen.
UNPARALLELED
Do you know any other games that let you run a cult? How about ones that also let you summon unfathomably monstrous deities? Or ones that let you do both of those packaged into one wholesome, sleek, mobile card game experience? Whatever else you want to say about Underhand, it's irrefutably the first of its kind. Play now, so you can proudly proclaim that you were into it well before it amassed a cult following!

I heard about this game on the Top Down Perspective Podcast, and it’s been extremely impressive. The game is everything you could want with a mobile game: simple, addictive, bite-sized fun. While it’s very short, there is already a lot here to love. The game lends itself to easily being updated with new events and gods, and I hope to see updates to this game down the line bringing more stuff.
But best of all, this game isn’t bogged down by micro transactions. In fact, there are none whatsoever as well as no ads. It makes for a frustration free experience in my opinion.
I plan on showing the app to others and spreading the word around. It’s been a blast.

This game is great and quite addictive. My girlfriend showed it to me and from the way she described it sounded right up my alley and it totally is. It actually takes strategy and planning in this game and the inspired, dark overlay they did with the words and art are phenomenal.
My one thing that does aggravate me is that it has a problem of crashing at times. No other apps are open but it's only about a 1/6 of the time, but being in the middle of a riveting deck it crashes and you lose everything.
All around great game, and it's not as bad as it sounds, cause once you get over it you get a great game!

Fun gameplay but needs work

The game as a whole is fun. A nice challenge, I like the little touches like the voiceovers that chime in when you do something particularly bad.
However, there's one major problem: the game loses all progress if you leave and don't return immediately. Twice now I've left the game to attend to other things like phone call, etc., and when I came back, my game progress was completely gone. Really not cool. This alone drops my rating by at least two stars.
Also, initial loading time is too long (iPhone 6) for such a simple game. Finally, the game could really use some art for the resource cards - they're too plain looking!
