Ratings and Reviews
Still my go to, few improvements could be made.
Still my go to mail app after all this time... Could use a few updates...mostly how easy it is to accidentally send a blank email... The "new" and "send" icons appear in the same place, and since the animation to compose a new message takes a bit of time, often you'll double tap the "new" icon, leading to an empty message sent and a required "sorry for the blank email" follow up. Could improve button UI or pop up a "are you sure" dialog to prevent blank emails. It would also be great to attach multiple images at once with a "select all" functionality.
Looking forward to updates!
Just an update to counter some of the negative reviews.. Sure it could use a few feature additions but in many cases the beauty of an app is in its simplicity... Not just churning out updates for updates sake. That said, would rally appreciate the few small tweaks mentioned above 😊
Great concept, no updates.
Still like the concept and wish development on the app would continue, but minus the once a year update when iOS changes, there is nothing going on with this app from the developer. I wish another developer would take the concept and expand to make it a true email powerhouse.
Still love the Unibox concept but the app just does not work well. Slow to update, emails not syncing, infrequent developer updates to the app and notifications that simply don’t work. I don’t use anymore but keep it around just hoping someday the updates will fix most of the issues and get push notifications working. If you are coming from the Mac app that also has many issues, I would save yourself $5 and walk away.
Version 1.1 update:
Had deleted the previous version as the updating just did not work for me. I still use OSX version and love the concept. I want to like the iOS version. The search function is much improved and also spotlight search is a great addition. For this to be my everyday email client, and I really want it to be, I need them to add an option for push notifications. I simply have to many emails that need to have attention quickly. I will keep using it, but still some bugs to work out. Overall good improvement from V1. Hoping for more updates with a quicker timeline than 1 per 8-9 months.
Liking it so far—one missing feature
I purchased the pro version and I’m diving into it and so far enjoying it. I like the ability to customize the swipe actions—both the number or actions and the order.
However, my feedback and one feature missing for zero inbox is the ability to ‘swipe’ and move all contact emails to a folder. You can dive into an contacts list of emails and swipe to move, however, moving all emails is a contact is not an option.
I need this as I file my emails according to project/client and some how I thought this intuitive function would be there ready for me to use. But alas, it is not. Can this be added? I certainly will update my rating to five stars for this!
