WiFi not working on flights
I flew United to Europe and back. Both 9+ hour flights. I had the most up to date version each time and an error message kept showing up. The flight attendant told me that it was working on the way there, she wasn’t sure why mine was not connected. I even bought the WiFi for 15 minutes to double check to make sure that my app was up to date - it was and even then I couldn’t watch movies with the WiFi. Both my iPad and my phone are brand new. On the way back the wifi wasn’t working at all until half way through the flight. My iPad and phone still did not connect. The only reason I am giving a three out of five is because I left my iPad on the plane and the staff were able to get it for me!
Boarding passes deleted after first flight landed
I had checked in for my trip that had two connecting flights. After the first flight landed both boarding passes were deleted. Also, the app never entered the passes into my Wallet as I had specified. I had to get a printed pass as the United people were not able to retrieve my pass on my iPhone, as I was fortunate to have a bit of extra time between the flights. If it was a tight schedule I would have missed the second flight. I am using iPhone 6s iOS 11.
Unless I’m on WiFi I’m told I have no connectivity. It’s virtually impossible to do anything other than view my boarding passes.
I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but it’s all the same messaging. This app is garbage.
