SOUND NOT WORKING?
There’s a switch on the side of your device. If it is set to mute (red) then the sound from this app will NOT come through the speakers, however the sound will still work for headphones. Other troubleshooting tips for sound:
is your device connected to a bluetooth headset?
have you tried toggling the side switch back and forth?
is the volume in the app’s settings menu turned all the way up?

Great app; minor upgrades needed
This app is great for teaching and guiding breathing for health.
It has a ton of settings, so any level user can begin the app and work up to advanced breathing.
There are 3 levels. Each level has 3 stages and each stage has 2 options for a total of 18 preset programs. Even better, these preset programs can be played for 5-60 minutes, your choice.
You can also customize a program. The customization allows a lot of user control over the features: time, inhale length, exhale length, and hold lengths. It also allows you to set progressive increments of programs. I do this to build up to the advanced levels of breathing in a single session.
There is also a lot of concise educational information right here in the app with links to more.
I wish I could give it 4.75 stars because my con list is not worth a full star deduction. Here are the cons:
1. The app pauses if it is sent to the background. It needs to be able to run in the background.
2. It would be great if it could be programmed to open several times per day.
3. The tracking feature is off by one, so it tracks the wrong data. It also does not track 9 of the preset programs and it should.
4. There's no way to track customized sessions. This feature should be added, especially when the customized breathing programs follow the ratios from the standard preset programs.
5. There's no contact information in the help section.
Great app, but wish it would run in the background.
I really love using this app. I would give it five stars, but I wish that it would run in the background so I didn't have to leave the screen on and waste battery life. I only use the audio cues, so I have no need to look at the screen while it's running.
Doesn't run in the background.
Great features for breathing exercises. The animation of the man breathing might be nice, but is essentially useless. I really wish you could run the app in the background so I could do my breathing exercises while reading or meditating (with a locked screen), and just following the audio cues. That would be 5 stars.
