There’s a switch on the side of your device. If it is set to mute (red) then the sound from this app will NOT come through the speakers, however the sound will still work for headphones. Other troubleshooting tips for sound:

Amazing free app. Must have!

I just downloaded this app and used it for the first time. The pranayama is proven to be a very successful way to manage distress and I really need that for my mental health condition. I have practiced yoga and meditation off and on for years, but somehow, the visual breathing countdown is really useful and helped me focus on the amount of time I breathed in and out. As I was doing the exercise, I actually could feel my muscles and body becoming very relaxed. I think this is an amazing health app could for a variety of health problems. Yes!!

Seems great

I really like the interface; the illustration of man and lungs & diaphragm moving along with progress circle and the different sounds to cue in vs exhale are great for beginners. Gave me something to focus and come back to, which haven't been able to do alone. Just wish I could explore more with different breathing ratios.

Major Flaw

You have to have the screen on or the app shuts off. For the $ this should be able to run in the background or even run concurrently with your music. Plenty of apps like Pandora can play in the background WHILE u use or listen to something else. Please fix this
