Ratings and Reviews
I will have to agree worth Angelica. You cannot access class messages or view the instructor's or school's policies. You cannot access the academic or financial advisors' contact information. You cannot download documents from the app or view electronic materials. The option to upload from the phone would be helpful as well. Furthermore, with discussion posts, there is no option to edit the title of the post, which is required by some instructors. It would also help if users are given the option to view all flagged posts to better and quicker accessibility. I do like that you can view substantial posts and draft messages; and have access to grades and the class roster to include learning teams, and the notifications for class activities. However, another suggestion is the ability to view degree progress such as next scheduled classes, current GPA, and how many credits/courses remaining on degree plan. In summation, the application will need more improvement!
This app is only useful to post discussion questions and review grades. There is no option to select and read class messages from the "class messages" forum. You can not access contact information for your faculty team including academic and financial advisors. You cannot download documents from the Phoenix app to open in other phone apps such as PowerPoint, PDF files, or word documents to edit or read. It would also be nice to have the option to upload documents onto the Phoenix app from other apps such as word or PowerPoint. Half of the provided book chapters are only downloadable in PDF format and cannot be viewed in the app. I would recommend it for students wanting quick access to their grade and discussion posts.
First Time Using the App.
Classes are listed, you have the syllabus, recent activity, private message, instructor announcement, drafts, grades, and rosters tabs.
I can keep up with attendance and participation with this app..
Like the part where I can set up notifications for my messages, grades, due assignments, or team assignments.
That’s pretty much the whole app.. This is something to open to check and see where you’re at and what you need to do so you’re not far behind. Not going to be my main source to turn in homework though.
Wish there was more to it, maybe an update coming up? Using this on an iOS 11.4..
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
