Drag and Drop

Unsplash takes advantage of drag and drop on iPad. Once you find a photo you want to use, drag it to any app that supports drag and drop, like Keynote, Pages, and Notes.

What's New

Version 1.1

In this version, we added photographer profiles. It brings a whole new way to browse so you can see more photos than ever before. Tap a photographer’s name to view their photos. We spent a lot of time on the custom transitions, for your retinas’ pleasure.

When I see the number 23, I always think about Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time. A more contemporary reference would be LeBron James, the greatest basketball player of the current time. He is an incredible athlete. At 33 years old, an old age for professional athletes, he's never played better.

Why am I talking about 23? Because this version's build number was supposed to be 23. But a last-minute improvement got added, and we had to bump the build number to 24.

Fortunately, Kobe Bryant wore number 24, so we can still keep the basketball reference. Kobe also happens to be my favorite basketball player. And since we’re speaking of jersey numbers, he’s the only player to have two jersey numbers retired by the same team.

So here’s to release number 23 and 24, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant!

Good app; would like to see a sign-in/save photos option

I love the unsplash platform and use it frequently. I was excited to download this app and have better access to beautiful images. It’s easy to navigate and downloading images is a breeze. The only thing that is lacking is a way to sign-in to our unsplash account and save photos for later use (like we can on the website) instead of immediately downloading them. Other than that, though, I’m excited about this app!

Almost perfect.

I really love this app. The only problem with this app is that it’s too simple. Don’t get me wrong I love how simple and easy to use this app is. However there are times when I see an amazing photo and wish to view other photos with the same tags or visit the artists account to find more photos. Sadly this app doesn’t allow it yet like how the original website does.
