Up is a simple app with a huge mission -- to make the world a better place. UP, allows you to anonymously send positive and encouraging messages to your phone contacts.
If your contacts don't have the app, they will still receive your kind message via text from an anonymous number. They will not know who is sending the message, unless they download the app to reply and you decide to reveal yourself. It's completely up to you.
Anonymous kindness is the best kind. It frees the recipient from embarrassment and the burden of feeling any need to reciprocate. Additionally, performing acts of kindness, without the desire to ever receive recognition or reward is the ultimate.
Anonymity can be a powerful thing when it’s used for good.

There couldn't be a more worthless idea. I suppose an app like this represents the amount of spare time developers have to waste on worthless ideas...
