What's New in Version 3.5.421
We are thrilled to have been welcomed into the Zomato family! Zomato is present in 22 countries, has over 1 million restaurant listings, and more than 95 thousand reviewers.
We are releasing a new logo in this update! This new logo uses the spoon from Urbanspoon and carries Zomato's theme color - a perfect mixture of both the brands. We also fixed a critical bug causing slow load times.
Gravy - Pet Rock Manager
I cannot understand what the owner of Holy Cow is thinking in allowing the manager to have contact with people. We were promptly seated by this person which was great. But the reason we got seated so quickly was do to what appears to be their already declining business. If a restaurant is good it is good. I consider my self to be a food critic without actually being one. I have been in Albuquerque since the 60's and I have tried every restaurant. And customer service is critical component of a success business and loyal customers. Anyway we ask for appitizers which came at the same time as the meal. This was after a long wait. They we not busy. I politely declined to to. She went and talked to the "pet rock". Next we had to ask for silverware twice. The

A great tool to figure out where to eat
We have been using this app for several years. While there have been some hiccups (latest update to Zamato wouldn't allow app to open), overall it's been pretty good. Used in conjunction with a couple other apps we have navigated restaurants in cities we travel to very successfully.
Ratings are accurate but make sure there are enough entries to get statistically valid guidance.
A favorite feature is "find restaurants near me". When in Paris a couple years ago we were unhappy with a restaurant we sat down in. Checking Urbanspoon confirmed our fears. Using the "near me" feature we found an amazing Greek restaurant 5 minutes away.
We don't leave home without it!
Re-update now fixes the hang at launch
Edit: Thanks for quickly rereleasing the app to repair what you broke a week ago. The new version seems just like the old one with the logo replaced. My comments below refer to the transient release just after Zomato's acquisition.
Come on, guys. You took a great app, which I have relied on to make my search for a restaurant in an unfamiliar city less random, and you've ruined it. All I get is a splash screen with a spinning line graphic. Don't push me into the arms of Yelp! Get those programmers on the case and fix it, or re-post the old version until you do!
