uSwim: Teach kids to swim
By uSwim Pty Ltd
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
uSwim is a world-leading ‘learn to swim’ program. This application shows you how to teach children of all ages to swim. Anyone can learn how to do great lessons by watching our professional, step by step videos, and using easy-to-follow lesson plans.
Conduct interactive lessons at the pool!
uSwim has 3 separate levels,
l. Babies: - Children from 4 months to 3 years
2. Safety Fundamentals: – Children over 3 years,
3. Stroke Development: – Children over 3 years who have completed level 2.
The uSwim program is adapted from Australia’s premier Swim School - Aquatic Achievers, who deliver over 400,000 lessons per year and have been at the forefront of children’s aquatic education for the past 40 years.
The uSwim app is free to download, we also then give free introduction videos and also the first skill in each level is free. After that you pay $1 for each skill as an in-app purchase.
uSwim is not a commercial venture. The reason why we charge a small price for skills is because that money is then used to help support our volunteering and charity work. We figured if you can afford an iphone then you can afford a few dollars for underprivileged kids. If you would like to see example's of this head to www.uswim.com and check the news section.
Above all we hope this app can help parents teach more kids to swim with confidence.
We would love your feedback on how to make it better.

What's New in Version 2.22
Updates and fixes for iOS6.
Video compatability fixes.
Great idea; unsupported app
Thankfully I didn't purchase any lessons after reading a review from Jul 2012 indicating they could not watch any of the lessons as it kept saying you had to watch the intro, even after having done so. I watched the intro, then attempted to watch the first free lesson but got the same error message. It's now almost 8 months since the first reviewer's complaint and apparently it has not been addressed, rendering this app useless.
Love the step by step paced instruction. Slightly disappointed the videos have no sound.
