Needs voiceover support
When I first saw this game, I was really really happy. I thought, "oh, how cool! They finally have another audio game for the blinds to play! "I was wrong. Each time I tapped, after I turned off voice over, all I heard was the loop of music played over and over and over. Finally, I must've tapped in the right place. For then, The game started to play. I don't know, I guess I'm just really disappointed. I thought this would be a really cool audio game for the blind. I was searching for audio games for iOS, assuming that it would know that this would be for the blind. I mean, not to say, that the cited wouldn't enjoy it too. I'm not saying that it all. I just thought, since it was an audio game, that blind people would be able to play it too.
Nice concept; Needs polish
The touch controls were a welcome addition on the iPad; however, the game would do best with a virtual joystick that appears wherever you touch so you don't have to look down. The game is good but it needs a little bit of polish. Sounds could loop a little more smoothly (police car on lvl 1 and ambient sound while the narrator speaks are the prime examples). The sudden stopping and starting over of the sound loop keeps me from being fully submersed into the experience. It seems the rumble control is missing from my iPad 4. It's just minor details that keep this from being a really good game.
Innovative Concept - FUN!!!
1. If you're walking and walking and walking and nothing happens you're probably walking in the wrong direction and chasing the wrong sound. Try turning slowly until you hear a different sound.
2. For combat try shaking the phone from side to side rather then up-and-down - much more effective.
Overall I really enjoyed this game & am looking forward to more levels to play.
