Not good for multiple cards or accounts
I really don't understand why we have the option to add multiple cards and accounts of we cannot silent which one to use per payment. I searched some forums and the only means seem to be setting whichever account as the default method. However, even when looking in settings,I could not find this option. For an app this popular and especially once that prides itself for easy user experience, this arms like a major oversight which could be easily fixed.
I run a business and would like to use Venmo to pay contractors from one card and make personal payments from another card.
It seems like they got 3/4 of the way there but allowing connection with multiple announcers bus not easily switching between then.
I tried to use this service to receive money from a friend. He sent me the money using his Account. Once I received the payment I transferred it to my bank account (or so I thought). A couple of days later I received an email stating my account was suspended. Apparently there was an issue with my friends funding source. Two days after contacting Venmo support to find out what was going on, I got an email saying my account had been permanently suspended and that they would no longer reply to my emails or attempts to contact (using my account). So needless to say, I won't be using this service anymore.... Just more typical poor customer service by a PayPal owned company. I was foolish to think it would be any different.
Works like a charm 😀
I was made aware of this awesome app from a Business owner, I wanted to pay for my items but I did not have any cash only credit. With Venmo I was able to buy what I needed and pay instantly. No hassle, No BS. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews for this app it does exactly what it supposed to, fast, quick and easy. Seriously you would have to be slightly retarded to get this wrong and loose a single cent.
