Perfect for me
This is not an all encompassing cloud like on your PC or, Mac. That said what it is, the perfect on the go I "caught the best picture" or, "wow i can't believe she gave me her phone number" insurance. So video, photo's, and contacts your covered as well as a few other things I've never seen or, think many people have. If your like me the moderate tech savvy guy 40+ and looking for a fast back up for peace of mind, don't loose it, back it up; better safe than sorry.
Functional & reassuring
It serves its purpose - my contacts are backed up giving me peace of mind that I won't lose them. However, in order to back up photos and/or music, Verizon's going to have "up the ante" and get with the times and offer a competitive storage size... say, something in the range of 15-30 GB. Right now I only back up contacts. My photos would eat up all 5 GB of data in one fell swoop.
Not what it used to be
Something happened. Something changed. My Verizon iCloud failed to upload for a month. When I tried to run it, it got stuck many times. It seemed when my screen timed out the app would fail, freeze. After it was done I could. Or use any apps.. texting and internet. I was not able to type.. very weird. I deleted the app. I used other cloud services.
