FiOS Mobile also offers Free and Subscription On Demand content, the ability to use your eligible device as a remote control to interact with your FiOS TV, remotely manage your DVR recordings, view TV listings, and access the FiOS On Demand catalog.


Access to select Free and Subscription On Demand content from anywhere, as well as the ability to browse the ever-growing FiOS On Demand library of movies and TV shows.

Live streaming TV channels both in and out of your FiOS home (*requires both FiOS TV and FiOS Internet service in home, as well as subscription to any of the channels you wish to watch):
- Select live channels while in your FiOS home
- Select live channels while away from your FiOS home

Just needs to add more movies, but..

I really like this app because I can watch movies anywhere at anytime from my phone (as long as you already have the premium channels in your monthly fios package) and if you've rented a movie on your television set you can still watch it from your phone or tablet. I also love that I can record a show or movie wherever I am from my phone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is periodically the app just shuts off during a movie, not frequently, but it can be annoying. Also because I've watched all the great movies they have to offer and would like them to update the app more frequently to add more selection to the premium movies section. I definitely recommend this app to everyone considering those are my only two "problems" :)

Burned by Fios

This app would be great if it could work with Verizon's own router. I find that it uses up more of my data than it does running on Wi-Fi inside my home. I disabled the cellular data for this app and noticed connectivity blinks on and off more than Christmas tree lights - on and off, on and off, on and off- error message you have to sign in again, create a trouble ticket? That goes unanswered. Upgraded my Internet speed because they said that's what it was. Went through the hassle of boxing up and shipping back all the equipment, receiving the new equipment, setting it up. Still the wi-Fi issue persists. And for those skeptical readers most of my wi-fi tests were conducted standing next to the router- no walls, no floors to get in the way. I call in for tech-support it's overseas can't understand what the guy is saying. Maybe he could've helped if I could've understood him.


Direct tv and comcast's mobile platforms out perform this 10 to 1! Have to restart app almost every time and even then it's hit or miss. Program info doesn't load and have to "back door" through guide to watch live tv. Thumbs down... Hard for me to decide which is worse, this app or Verizon's customer service. Now I can't even use the app because it says I have to be subscribed to Internet and cable (which I am) and every time I send a "ticket" to have it corrected they just say the ticket has been resolved and it has not been. I have filed over a dozen "tickets" all status says resolved and I am still having the issue. Don't waste any of your time or money with Verizon Fios. Xfinity is 100% better with customer service and actually fixing a problem when you bring it to their attention. FIOS IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
