Have video of a 100 meter sprint or any other event and want to know the elapse time of the event after the video was recorded? Maybe you want to measure the time it takes for an object to fall?
Enter Video Stopwatch. Just load your video into Video Stopwatch and scrub to the point you want and set the exact starting and ending point(s) to measure.
You can set multiple ending points such as the case in a race where multiple people finish the race at different times. When each person crosses the finish line you would set an individual ending point. Video Stopwatch will then calculate the exact elapse time(s).
Use Video Stopwatch for any kind of measurement captured on video in which you would like to calculate an elapse time. The uses are endless!
We have fixed a bug that caused incorrect calculation of thousandths of a second.
Ratings and Reviews
It’s impossible to be perfect since I am usually in the grandstands and not perfectly at the finish. I almost always get within one tenth of a second of FAT. I need to learn a bit more, but it’s FAR more accurate than hand timing. Vantage point is everything. You must view the starters smoke and have a reasonable view of the finish. It’s been fairly reliable for over a year.
Worked only once
I was able to import a video and set start and end points and it calculated the elapsed time which was great. After that, the app fails to find any videos to import. I tried to trouble shoot by:
- making sure that the app had permission to photos/videos. It did.
- uninstalled and reinstalled the app and rebooted iPhone.
- tried it on my iPad
- made sure there was enough available memory. There was 1.3 GBs
- contacted tech support. All they could suggest was to check to see if app has permission to photos.
All attempts failed.
LOVE this app!
This app is perfect for determining a sprinters exact velocity, stride rate and stride frequency! So simple to use!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
