PLEASE FIX - IT CRASHES WITH EVERY UNIQUE OPTION! UPDATED REVIEW
THIS IS A NEW 1/14 REVIEW. THE LATEST REVIEW. PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS! Editing the video using the tools or editing the photos grabbed are no longer available nor is simply viewing the saved library and it has gotten so bad that just opening it causes it to crash. This app has not been updated since Jan. 2013. This has been my exclusive app for video editing but now all it does is crash. The developer knows the problem because I have contacted him 3 times. All he says is that he will get to it. He stated "OS 7 has broken it." A 5 star app is now nonfunctional. I give it a one star because I can't give it a zero! I don't want to just bash this app. IT IS A ONE OF A KIND APP. It allows you to look at the video frame by frame and choose them for photos, edit them, send or save them in addition to editing frame by frame videos if that is what you want to do. PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS! Why take a pic when you can choose the best frame?
VideoPix is superb!
I edit videos with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. After staring at my 30 second end-of-dance-class summary video for over an hour, trying to get step timing down, I decided to see if there was a slow motion viewer. I read the reviews, and selected VideoPix. In under 2 minutes, I'd clarified the timing! Think you have a new unpaid product evangelist? I expect you'll get 15 or 20 new customers from Austin, Texas in the near future, just from that one dance class.
Congratulations on a product that has obviously scared the heck out out other product sellers in this category, judging from the freaked-out reviews they left. I wish you great success. I'm certain you'll achieve it.
One of the best
My opinion one of the better recording & editing video apps I've seen. I end up using this most of the time because I like the fast & slo-mo effects and love being able to extract photos from video. Any more video or audio effects would be welcome--if you added chroma keying and maybe multi track audio and video I wouldn't need any other apps at all - but as I said this is my favorite without those features anyway. And, if I got as much use and enjoyment per dollar spent on everything else I buy as you guys offer on this, my head just couldn't take it in.
