Bug fixes and improvements
Perk Is A Trash Company That Ruined This App
There are no words to describe how filthy and disgusting Perk is. They basically made this app worthless since everything is overpriced and earnings have been decreased. What a bunch of greedy people. I stopped using it ever since Perk came, but I have been checking in constantly to see what has been happening. It has been getting worse and worse every update. Before people were able to earn almost $5 a day just by watching tv and they got iPads in the span of a couple months. With perk it takes an entire year just to get a $5 gift card. Now I wasn't going to write a review since a lot of other people already have, but something just appeared on my lock screen that I have to talk about. Apparently if you give the app 5 stars, they will award you with points. This is cheating the system and if people rate the app 5 stars other people fall victim to the awful app that Perk has presented us. And to make it worse, they did one of their "bug fix updates" very recently to get rid of the 1 star reviews and make way for the 5 stars. This is one of the most disgusting strategies I have ever seen and it should be removed from the App Store because of it. It is a waste of space on your phone and I will never tell anyone to ever download this app (even if I hate them).
Total waste of time
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!!!
I have since realized the app is a total waste of time and I just keep it on my phone so I can continue to update my review to tell my story to warn potential downloaders every time Viggle updates their app, aka pressing the reset button on their negative reviews. I did the math and realized when they used to have prizes, I was earning about 20 cents an hour of my time based on prize values--and that was usually maximizing bonus shows, quizzes, and music daily. God who knows what that time is worth now this this perk bs.
Anyway, I vowed to them to continue telling and spreading my experience until this company is buried, and I got silence from their customer service. The Perks customer service continues the Viggle tradition of refusing to communicate with me on why my account was disabled. They go silent when I ask. What a bunch of cowards running customer service.
I really used to love viggle when I first started using this app, I mean being able to get free stuff from checking into tv shows what could be better then that? Well now over two years later this app has truly turned horrible now that perk is involved. From earning way less points for checking into shows then before, the constant commercials that play every five minutes while checked into a show, and even though you may now leave the app and do other things on your phone while earning points you must make sure to have the app open every five minutes to watch a million commercials to earn the points for the show. The only reason I still use this app is because I want to collect some prize before they shut down completely...:-/
